Ca$ual & Ab$tract.

by Jamila Pierre

Soooooo, I've only worn these abstract-print pants thrice in the past two years that I've owned them. It isn't because I don't absolutely love them or have nothing to wear with them, it's just that I am a creature of habit, and I have a tendency of playing favorites with some of the clothing that I keep in heavy rotation.

But trust me, these will be brought into the mix this winter, especially because some of my favorite bottoms that were in fact my life are no more. And if you're anything like me seasons have no real barrier aside from thickness of material and sleeve length, so bright and fun is sure to be year around if I so choose.

I chose this pairing because I wanted to be bright and fun but I wanted to be casual about it too, which is why I threw this grandpa sweater on top of a plain black tee. Of course I rocked my current obsession boots and a statement necklace and viola, we're done.

Oh but wait, there's more....how could I forget the clutch of all clutches, this MONEY clutch from Forever21! This baby is suuuuuuper super super super super well made, it's ridiculous.

What I'm Wearing:

  1. Cardigan from Forever21.com. $19.80
  2. T-Shirt circa 2011. $0 (Gifted)
  3. Pants from Forever21.com. $24.80
  4. Boots from CharlotteRusse.com. $15 (from $45)
  5. Necklace from AFAZE. 3 for $10
  6. Bracelet from Burlington Coat Factory. $7
  7. Clutch from Forever21.com. $19.90

How To Printed Pants: Abstract

by Jamila Pierre in , , , ,

The concept of a printed pant, more times than not, seems like just a little too much for people to handle. Most of the time if we find ourselves admiring printed pants, it's usually on someone else or on the racks in the store.

I personally love a printed pant and with the prints that have been coming out in my size these days, I couldn't be anymore pleased to don a pair.

This would definitely be in my work-wear arsenal if I were in a creative office position, YES!

And the HEELS....let's get into these daggone heels. These are some of the most comfortable heels I have ever put on my feet. The height, style, color, construction, and material is/are sheer perfection. With the exception that I should have followed my first instinct and purchased a half size up, which I suggest to all my fellow wide footed gals out there, these shoes are the knees of the bees.

Ok, so you will and have to eventually get use to me posting ridiculous candids from time to time of my tomfoolery.
