BUT THEM JEANS THO...

by Jamila Pierre

Ok so I am super loving this entire look; mostly because it hits all of the notes of casual, comfy, cute, with a side order of edge (all in one), but also because it has my favorite elements....floral, moto, and leather.

I saw this top and was super excite to own it, it only cost five beans and though it only came as large as an XL...it seemed stretchy enough. My home skillet peeped it and felt the need to cop it as well, I mean who can pass up such a steal for such a cute top at such an awesome price? It gives off this whole I'm totally not trying to be cute...but I am anyhow.

Unfortunately, I was blessed with some MAJOR arm-action, and the seam of the top of the sleeve  was not entirely created to house all of it's glory. Don't get me wrong it definitely works, but...it could work so much more if it were just one size up.

I paired it with my lock necklace and these borrowed sunnies from the my main, and I called it a day for the upper deck.

Now on to these pantalones. First let me say that it SUPER sucks how I can't find them on the site anymore. When I first hauled them on my YouTube channel, I linked them in the description and everything, but sadly they are gone. However, this look works with any acid wash, distressed, or moto pant/jean. It's the whole juxtaposition thing I always talk about here on the blog. Floral and Biker Bish Chic is always a go, and if you can find ways to dial it down or turn it all the way up effortlessly...DO IT.

I  should actually include more almost/ complete fails in my posts, so you can see some of the foolishness.

{PLUS} FALL LOOKBOOK 2015.

by Jamila Pierre

Lord when I tell you, to get this Lookbook done was a trip and a half.....

The concept behind it was one I wanted and had in mind for a long time. I would always have mini Lookbooks play out in my head to the tune of whatever was blaring through my headphones at the moment. And even with all that went into this Lookbook, how much I LOVE it and am proud, it still doesn't exactly look like the wild and crazy that lives in my imagination.

I partially blame myself for not being able to fully articulate the crazy (verbally or otherwise), but DAMN IT if this Lookbook isn't FIYAH though!

I know we're heading into winter full speed ahead...but I don't care, because most of these looks will probably be worn then too...so watch and enjoy!

(Below is the behind the scenes of this Lookbook and some of the foolishness that went on during. It's a short clip but...)

Towards the end I was so spent, I live with a chronic illness that doesn't really allow me to over exert myself, to be super mobile, or to barely do what I did for this video...for this blog even, but I was gonna be damned if I wouldn't make this here video.

It was shot in the dead of July with the heat just thick and nagging, my headache and spine situation was on straight stupidity, but I actually enjoyed myself through all of the pain and literal sweat beads. I was out of commission for like a week or so but it was worth it.
