Totes Amaze.

"Sometimes a whole outfit is based around a solitary accessory, this was one of those times." -Jamila Pierre

During Christmas of last year my main Bish gifted me this brushed silver wristlet wallet from target, with (so corny it's kinda cute)  embossed lettering on the front. At the time I was absolutely obsessed with finding accessories with raised lettering (let's face it...I'm still obsessed).

When I saw this cute little gem I was like...Biiiiiiiitch, I NEED THIS!!! My home skillet naturally obliged, but she cruelly wouldn't let me have it until Christmas...which was weeks away.

I was crazy anticipating this wristlet and then when I finally got it...I didn't break it out, much less for the bloggity, until right now (I'm a crazy person, it's official).

Soooo when I finally did decide to bust this baby out I knew I wanted it to be the base, then I stacked everything else on top like legos and built my fit.

I hadn't rocked one of my most awesome blazers (with the ombred speckles) in a hot minute. I also hadn't ever worn this sleeveless color-blocked top in black and white either (you can't see the top part where the white is because there's a bunch of FAIL going on here, my hair is in the way). I also paired it with none other than my MYNT1972 skirt..because it's BAAAWWWSSSSE, and the newest member of the NaughtCouture famiglia...my minimalist wedge bad boys.  Lastly, you know ya girl had to don her trusty shades, red lip, and signature jewels.

What I'm Wearing:

  1. Blazer from Target.com. $39.99
  2. Sleeveless top from Target.com. $10
  3. Necklace from wholesale district. $5
  4. Bracelet from Burlington Coat Factory. $7
  5. MYNT1972 skirt from Shop & Swap. ($30)
  6. Minimalist Wedge from OldNavy.com. $11 (On Sale)

All in all I think this outfit is Totes Amaze! What do you think? Do you base your look around an accessory, tell me about it? How would you have done this look?
