Lumberjack Chic: Round 2

by Jamila Pierre

When I tell you that I plan to get the  most use out of the Newbury Plaid Jacket from Fashion To Figure, I mean it with every inch of my being. This jacket is just freakin' amazing. It's currently out of stock online, but it may very well come back due to it's popular demand, and I am not entirely certain how it is fairing in-store. If it isn't online, it may be stocked just fine in-store, but not for long, so get on it. I can't even fully express how much I die for this jacket or how hard I live for it, just know that you will grow tired of seeing me in it, and as you grow tired, the bond between this jacket and I will only be melding together until we are one.

And lets talk about these leggings for Pete's sake, like seriously!!!

I have had my eye on these for a minute and a half and at last they are mine, my only regret is that I didn't buy fifty pairs. I just hope that one day I could acquire millions so that I may get the duplicates and triplicates of the things I love most, I hate that moment when you realize all too late that a particular item is so amazing and that you'll never come across it again (much like these boots).

What I'm Wearing:

  1. Jacket from Fashiontofigure.com. $36
  2. Long-sleeve top from Target.com. $7
  3. Leggings from Forever21.com. $19.90
  4. Boots from CharlotteRusse.com. $15 (from $45)
  5. Necklace borrowed from my Bestie.

Sequins & Fall Florals.

by Jamila Pierre

While engaging in one of my favorite pastimes of all time, perusing online stores and window shopping until my eyes melt out of their sockets, I spied with my little eyes this amazing dress on Wetseal.com, along with its older and much more sophisticated sister (to which I will be doing an outfit post with soon enough). I had this amazing floral cornucopia in my shopping cart for a while, debating with myself as to why on earth I needed yet another dress in my arsenal, and then there it was....a buy one get one sale....

The material is great, the cut is excellent, the print is divine, and what better way to pair this dress than to pair it with another Wetseal find; this most amazing sequin-sleeved anorak jacket? Perfection! I threw on some leggings, my "current obsession" boots, and a statement belt. I also threw in my most recent {Steals & Deals}, this studded deep red faux leather backpack.

What I'm Wearing:

  1. Dress from Wetseal.com. $36.90
  2. Jacket from Wetseal.com. $15 (Black Friday Sale)
  3. Belt from Rainbow. $7
  4. Bag from Shoppers World. $12
  5. Boots from Charlotterusse.com. $15 (from $45)
