Oxblood, or shall I say burgundy, is a color trend that should never go out of style. I have been in love with this color since way back when, and honestly I feel that this color is appropriate for all seasons. It can be incorporated into any outfit through jewelry, articles of clothing, makeup choices, and even hair color. What's trending now for the spring season are floral prints, the colors emerald green and pistachio, and high-low skirts and tops. Even though that may be the case, please do not leave out the illustrious, deep, saturated color of Oxblood. The other trend from fashions past (Fall and winter 2012) that I feel will be great throughout this spring are wax-coated jeans or pants, YES it's still cool enough outside to wear them, do not be fooled by the sun that threatens to make your days hot and sweaty, it is still chilly out there, and not quite the temperature that should steer you in the direction of flouncy lightweight dresses and short shorts (depending on where you live of course), Most importantly, do not let trends fully dictate how you dress, merely use it as inspiration, and apply it to your current wardrobe as YOU see fit. Get creative!
